Destination Elopement at Limetree Beach in St. Thomas
Leandrew planned almost every detail of their elegant wedding on the sand at Limetree Beach in St. Thomas.
The couple was delightful and playful on their wedding day. Leandrew and Natalie exchanged vows while their officiant, Michael, presided over their ceremony.
The newlyweds had the beach to themselves and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery.
Limetree Beach is located on a sleepy bay on the southside of the island. It is just minutes from Marriott Frenchman's Bay Resort and well-maintained.
As can be seen in the photographs, on the far right side of the beach is a rock face and rock formations making for a beautiful backdrop for photos.
Even though it had rained most of the day, the cloud-cover made for soft lighting and kept the hot Caribbean sun at bay. And thankfully, the rain held off for a couple hours for the ceremony and beach photography.
The ceremony started at 5 pm and their photos were taken until just after 6 pm...just as the sun began to set over the island.
Limetree Beach is one of the best on St. Thomas for sunset weddings. It faces mostly west, so the light is perfect for photos this time of day.
Magens Bay Beach Wedding
On an uncharacteristic over-cast day at Magens Bay on St. Thomas, Katie & Doug were married when the rain gave a short break and the sky opened up.
A very intimate family ceremony included Katie's sister as the maid of honor and Doug's best man was Katie's brother.
Katie walked down the aisle to Cannon in D Major, played by a local classical violinist. The aisle made by the two rows of white garden chairs was decorated with brightly colored rose petals and blue mason jars filled with white roses and baby's breath
Katie & Doug said their wedding vows with their toes in the sand and under a 2-post bamboo arch with billowing white fabric and thoroughly enjoyed posing and kissing during their wedding photography. :)
St. Thomas Cruise Ship Vow Renewal
Alejandra & Chris celebrated 10 years of marriage at Magens Bay with their beautiful daughter.
Alejandra wore a simple and elegant white dress and held a tropical bouquet with dendrobium orchids, green hydrangea and featuring stunning "high and magic" bi-color roses.
The family was visiting from Panama aboard the cruise ship Oasis of the Seas. They were shuttled from the cruise ship dock to Magens Bay where they exchanged vows again at the water's edge.
The slightly overcast day did not dampen the love and joy this family felt as they reveled in the beauty of St. Thomas.
After the late afternoon ceremony and family photos on the beach, they were shuttled back to the ship.
A Simple Vow Renewal Ceremony at Magens Bay, St. Thomas
I had so much fun with Tametha and Kevin, celebrating their anniversary. Tametha surprised her groom with a "beach wedding", a chocolate groom's cake, and a renewed commitment to the many adventures to come.

An Elopement at Magens Bay Beach, St Thomas, US Virgin Islands
Congratulations to Shalonda and David who were married at Magens Bay Beach, St. Thomas. This sweet, bubbly and vibrant couple wanted a romantic wedding at the most romantic beach in St. Thomas. Simple touches, like the "something blue" ribbon on Shalonda's dress and rose petal heart in the sand were the perfect compliment for this easy going, "classic" beach wedding..
A Wedding for Two at Brewers Bay Beach, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands...
...I had so much fun shooting this couple who wanted a simple wedding-moon in St. Thomas. They opted to getaway from their all-inclusive getaway at the Dreams Sugar Bay Resort and 'trek' halfway across the island to Brewer's Bay which has one of the most amazing sunset views.
After their wedding ceremony, they enjoyed a little cake and a walk along the beach to the sugar mill ruin. Afterwards, the honeymoon began.
Congratulations to Anna and Jeremy!
A Beach Wedding Elopement in St. Thomas
This couple wanted a "traditional" wedding without all of the fuss. The bride, Michelle, spent the day being pampered before slipping into her dress and heading to the beach at sunset to exchange vows with Chris. After the ceremony, they celebrated with cake and champagne and then a romantic dinner for two.
Congratulations Michelle and Chris!
